Five days, top.

As you all may know, Pokemon Rocket Project is being made using RPG Maker XP. And, so it can work exactly the same way a gb/ds game works, all of the scripts were changed, remade, from scratch. So yeah, no standard RPG Maker script is in the game. And the only down side of this is that it’s hard to make most add-ons work together with the new script, ‘cause these add-on are/were made for the standard RPG Maker scripts.

That’s why I need a scripter!
I have one special add-on I’d like to see in the game, and I can’t seem to make it work. The first, and so far the only, task of this scripter is to make the add-on work on the new script.
I don’t think this would be that hard… The hard part is really get the know the new script. After that, just change the references… right?

In R/G/B, you start at your bedroom, and when you try to leave town - having to go through tall grass, Oak shows up and tells you how dangerous it is, and asks you to come to his lab. He gives you your Pokemon.
You reach the next town, and have to go back to Pallet to deliver a package to Oak. You get your PokeDex and you are free to go.

In G/S/C and HG/SS, you go talk to Elm, get your Pokemon, go to meet Mr. Pokemon (was that his name?) - Oak is also there, right?, go back, deliver the egg, get the Dex and is free to go.

In R/S/E, you find Birch being chased by a Pokemon (Poochyena or Zigzagoon), help him, go find your rival, and find yourself back at Birch’s lab, where you get the Dex.

In D/P, you get attacked by Starly, find a briefcase, get the Pokemon in it, defeat the Starly, go back home and then on to Rowan’s lab, where you get the Pokemon and the Dex. (Not sure about this one, haven’t played them yet =/)
In Pt, you try to get into the tall grass, Rowan stops you and gives you the Pokemon. When you meet him at his lab, he gives you the Dex and off you go.

And in B/W you get the Pokemon right in the first scene, at your room. Then you go to Juniper’s lab, get the Dex and sails away.

So……..
With this in mind, I’ll come up with a decent start for this game.
The beginning is always hard. To think and to execute. Too much talk, automatic movements, intro, animations… Nothing I an’t handle, though ;P
And I think I know how to start it all.

In the end, this is a game for the player. So the player better like it, eh xD

For those unaware of what the hell is this, Pokemon: Rocket Project (I’m gonna change the title. I had to come up with one to make the blog so….) is a fan-made rpg/adventure game, based on the Pokemon games, by Nintendo. Only, in this game, you start as a Rocket Grunt, not a Dexholder.
The game will be made using RPG Maker XP. There are already a few things ready, some found around the internet and some we are going to make or update ourselves. One way or another, everyone will be credited as necessary.

I’ll use this blog to keep my mind organized, mostly. Stored here will be all my thoughts on the game, like mechanics, gameplay, plots, side-quests, conversations, scripts and everything and anything related to it.
Of course, not all of the content will be open to everyone. Some stuff - most stuff, actually - will be private, so I don’t spoil the fun of playing the game for the first time.

Again, thank you all the kind and inspirational words.
We’ll make this happen.

PS: The official tag I’ll be using will be ‘pokemon rocket project’.
